The Port of Seattle is inviting residents to an upcoming info session to learn more about the next South King County Community Impact Fund (SKCCIF) Environmental Improvement Program (EIP) RFP, opening in September.

The EIP funds local projects that improve green spaces and promote environmental stewardship in south King County, the Duwamish Valley, Beacon Hill, and Rainier Valley.

Eligible projects include:

  • Park or playground upgrades
  • Public art or equipment installations
  • Tree planting and forest restoration
  • Neighborhood cleanups and stewardship

Multi-year funding available: up to $20,000 per year or $60,000 over three years!

  • Tuesday, Sept. 9 – 11 a.m.-1 p.m.: Kent Commons Community Center, 525 4th Avenue North, Kent, WA 98030 Register
  • Thursday, Sept. 11 –  6-8 p.m.: The Roadhouse, 19955 28th Avenue South, SeaTac, WA 98188 Register
