REMINDER: Premiering this Friday, Sept. 26 and continuing through Sunday, Oct. 19, Burien Actors Theatre (BAT) presents the Northwest premiere of The Coast Starlight.

The play, about human connection and reinvention, is written by Keith Bunin.

Performances will be held at Kennedy Catholic High School’s theater (map below)

Synopsis:

“A young man with a life-changing secret boards a long-distance train, the Coast Starlight. With the help of his fellow travelers, who are reckoning with their own choices, he has roughly a thousand miles to find a way forward. This story of “what ifs” looks at what happens when we step beyond being strangers to connect, and how our interactions can change ourselves and others. A smart, funny, and compassionate story about our capacity for invention and re-invention when life goes off the rails.”

The Coast Starlight contains some adult language and content.

Friday and Saturday performances are at 7:30 p.m., and Sunday performances at 2 p.m. Show run time is approximately 100 minutes with no intermission.

There is plenty of free on-site parking – follow the signs into the parking lot and around the buildings to the entrance, which is in back.
