REMINDER: Burien’s beloved summer tradition – Music in the Park – continues its 2025 concert series this Thursday night, July 24, 2025 with a soul-stirring performance by Eric Blu & the Soul Revue.

The free show takes place at Lake Burien School Memorial Park from 6:30 to 8 p.m., and attendees are encouraged to bring blankets, lawn chairs, and picnic dinners to enjoy the show under the summer sky.

It’s the perfect way to relax with friends, neighbors, and family while taking in top-tier live music.

The 2025 series runs every Thursday through Aug. 21 and includes a dynamic mix of genres, from 90s throwbacks and island-style covers to swing, soul, and country favorites.

“Eric Blu & the Soul Revue plays action-packed SOUL music, and with a blend of originals and classic covers this 12 piece band packs a wall of sound into their sets. A full horn section, backup singers, and a lineup of multi-instrumentalists all fronted by charismatic lead singer Eric Martin.”
