SAVE THE DATE: Downtown Burien will come alive with glowing art, live performances, and a night market on Saturday, Sept. 6, 2025, for the city’s annual Arts-A-Glow celebration.

The free, family-friendly event runs from 7 to 10:30 p.m. and will span SW 152nd & 153rd Streets from 4th Ave SW to Olde Burien, as well as Town Square Park.

Visitors can expect artist installations, hands-on art making, live performers, and a bustling night market.

Organizers say Arts-A-Glow, also called Arte Luminoso, aims to bring the community together through creativity and light.

This year’s program will feature illuminated costumes, glowing sculptures, and interactive art experiences.

Attendees are encouraged to explore the streets and park areas, where artists will display their work and lead creative activities for all ages.

Food vendors and local shops will be open late to welcome visitors.
