UPDATE AUG. 23, 2025: On Saturday, Aug. 23, 2025, the Washington State Patrol (WSP) canceled the Silver Alert issued on Friday, Aug. 22, for a missing 90-year-old man last seen leaving his Burien home.
WSP said that Richard Limmer was found in Poulsbo and is back with his family.
PREVIOUSLY:
Authorities said Limmer left his residence around 8 a.m. on Aug. 22 and was later spotted in Yelm at about 12:30 p.m.
Limmer is hard of hearing and may not be able to return home without assistance.
He is described as 5 feet 11 inches tall, weighing 175 pounds, with gray hair and blue eyes.
He was last seen wearing a tan plaid short-sleeved shirt, blue jeans, and blue slip-on shoes.
Limmer may be driving a white 2007 Buick Lucerne with Washington license plate 81919DP.
A photo released by the Washington State Patrol shows the actual vehicle.
The Silver Alert urges anyone who sees Limmer or the vehicle to call 911 immediately. The case number is C25025452.
