Burien Police made three separate arrests in a span of several hours the night before Halloween, taking multiple suspects into custody on outstanding warrants and new charges.
- DV Felony Arrest: The first arrest occurred around 8 p.m., when a deputy on follow-up duty received information that a person he had previously contacted earlier in the day had an outstanding felony warrant. The warrant included charges of second-degree domestic violence assault and fourth-degree domestic violence assault, with bail set at $100,000. The deputy located and arrested the suspect, who was booked into jail.
- Prowler Arrested: Around 10 p.m., deputies responded to a report of a prowler after a caller saw an unknown man in their driveway and going through their yard and mailbox. When deputies arrived, they found the suspect still in the area. Police said the man also had an outstanding misdemeanor theft warrant. He was arrested and transported to jail.
- Bicycle Arrest: At about 1 a.m., a deputy spotted a man riding a bicycle in a high-crime area and attempted to stop him. Police said the man fled but was later detained with assistance from other deputies. The suspect, who had an outstanding DUI warrant, was booked into jail on that warrant and new charges after allegedly attempting to flee on foot.
Burien Police said all three suspects were transported to jail, bringing a busy pre-Halloween night of enforcement to a close.
