Deputies and emergency medical crews responded late Saturday night, Jan. 24, 2026 to a confirmed stabbing at a restaurant in downtown Burien, according to Burien Police/King County Sheriff’s Office.
The initial 911 call was dispatched at 11:37 p.m. Saturday night to Video Cuautla, located at 223 SW 152nd Street, with the call type identified as a stabbing requiring medical response.
Burien Police deputies, assisted by other units, responded to the scene, but the group involved had dispersed by the time officers arrived.
Deputies located a man who was bleeding and who reported that he had been stabbed. Investigators believe the incident began as a verbal argument that escalated into a physical confrontation, during which one person pulled out a knife and stabbed the victim.
Police said the suspect had already fled the area before deputies arrived and was not located.
The victim was treated at the scene and transported to Harborview Medical Center by King County Medic One with injuries that were not considered life threatening.
Investigators have not released a description of the suspect.
This case is being investigated by KCSO Major Crimes and remains active.
