The splash fountain at Town Square Park in downtown Burien is now officially open — this time for real.
After a previous premature announcement based on a Tweet by Burien Councilmember Stephanie Mora when the fountain was still undergoing testing, the city has officially confirmed the popular summer feature is now fully operational.
The fountain will run daily from Noon to 6 p.m., providing a family-friendly way to cool off in the heart of downtown B-Town.
Now, with the summer heat about to return, the timing couldn’t be better.
The fountain — located at 480 SW 152nd Street (map below) — is a highlight of Town Square Park, drawing children and families from across Burien and beyond.
The plaza also includes public seating, art installations, and a large lawn area for play and picnics.
