UPDATE: Washington State Patrol detectives are asking the public for help identifying a driver involved in a fatal hit-and-run crash on SR 509 near White Center on Saturday night, Sept. 13, 2025, and they’ve released a photo.

The fatal collision happened around 11:40 p.m. Saturday night on SR 509 near the Meyers Way exit, according to WSP.

Troopers said a white passenger car was driving erratically when it struck a motorcycle, dislodging the rider.

A gray vehicle then struck the motorcycle, tragically killing the driver.

The white car fled the crash, exiting to Meyers Way.

Suspect Vehicle Info

Investigators said the suspect vehicle is a 2016–2017 Honda Accord that had been painted white over its original metallic blue color.

The car is expected to have front and rear end damage, and parts of its bumper were left at the scene:
