Trying to break in to a police station is rarely a good idea. A man was arrested early Thursday morning, Dec. 4, 2025, after deputies said he attempted to climb a secured fence at the Burien Police Department’s Precinct 4 campus, where they later learned he had an outstanding felony warrant.
Police said the incident occurred at approximately 4:50 a.m. at the department’s facility at 14905 6th Ave SW, which has locked, gated access marked with a red stop sign and is not open to the public.
A deputy who was in the parking lot heard the suspect fumbling with the fence and stopped him as he attempted to jump over it.
The Deputy stopped the male and arrested him for trespassing.
“The suspect overestimated his abilities and underestimated our facility security,” police said in a statement.
After detaining the suspect, deputies identified him and learned he had a felony warrant for escape from community custody for attempted murder 2, the department said.
He was booked into jail, and new charges have been forwarded to the prosecutor.

I do wonder if it’s the same guy who squats on the sidewalk outside the new apartments between there and DESC, he took over the bench meant for building residents.
Speaking of illegal campers, it’s amazing that all the DESC supporters haven’t picked up all that trash stewn daily in that neighborhood, will you be that Good Neighbor instead?
