Shots were fired near the Burien Off Leash Dog Park in the 500 block of SW 158th (map below) on Sunday night, Oct. 13.

Police say that just after 6 p.m., numerous 911 calls came in after people witnessed a shooting where several teens were seen running from the area, with at least one vehicle fleeing.

Police emphasized that the shooting didn’t occur in the dog park – it was out on the road near the park.

“No one was injured that we located. A car and a bike was struck by bullets, but no injuries,” Sgt. Ryan Abbott of the King County Sheriff’s Office told The B-Town Blog.

One resident said their truck was struck by a bullet, and that it may have been a drive-by shooting.

Police recovered shell casings at the scene.

No suspect information was released, and this case is still open. If you have any information, please call the King County Sheriff’s Office at (206) 477-2200.
