Shots were fired near the Burien Off Leash Dog Park in the 500 block of SW 158th (map below) on Sunday night, Oct. 13.
Police say that just after 6 p.m., numerous 911 calls came in after people witnessed a shooting where several teens were seen running from the area, with at least one vehicle fleeing.
Police emphasized that the shooting didn’t occur in the dog park – it was out on the road near the park.
“No one was injured that we located. A car and a bike was struck by bullets, but no injuries,” Sgt. Ryan Abbott of the King County Sheriff’s Office told The B-Town Blog.
One resident said their truck was struck by a bullet, and that it may have been a drive-by shooting.
Police recovered shell casings at the scene.
