On Friday, June 21, King County Councilmember Dave Upthegrove donated two retired vans on behalf of the county – including one to Burien.
The vans will be used to transport community service program participants.

The Burien Police Department added:
“Thank you King County Council and Councilmember Dave Upthegrove for donating a van to support Burien Police Department’s youth programs. The young men and women involved in the Burien SeaTac Explorers and Badges and Barbells programs will benefit from having dependable transportation to and from events!”
