From our friends at the Environmental Science Center:

To limit the spread of the COVID-19, the Environmental Science Center has cancelled upcoming community and school programs. This includes Toddler Times through April, the whole Beach Heroes season, and other school events and community festivals. The Coronavirus disease (COVID-19) has been characterized as a pandemic by the World Health Organization and the health and safety of our community members is our top priority. We will keep you updated as things change and hope these actions will be helpful for us all.

Participation in our events plays a large role in the ability of the Environmental Science Center to deliver its programs and services. Every event that is cancelled deeply impacts our staff, partners, and program participants. Many have asked how they can continue to support us during this trying time.

You can make a financial gift by visiting our Donate Page or our Virtual Fundraiser Page. Thanks to a pool of generous donors, donations of $250 or $500 made through March 31st will be matched.

Seahurst Park and its restrooms are currently open, but our facility will be closed, so emails are the best way to contact us. We greatly appreciate your understanding and support during this time and we look forward to resuming programming when the time is right.

Best wishes for a healthy spring,
Environmental Science Center Staff
