Longtime Burien hair/beauty salon London House – which has been in business for 50 years – announced this week that it won’t be able to reopen due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

This family-owned salon, located at 13028 1st Ave S., offered professional hair care, skincare, nail care, massage therapy and tanning.

“As we approach May 5th we must sadly inform you that London House Salon & Spa will be unable to reopen,” owners said in a statement. “We are deeply saddened to share this news and hope you understand that it has been a hard and painful decision.”

Owners are encouraging customers to keep in touch with their stylists, estheticians, nail artists and massage therapists.

“Despite our closure, we hope that your connection with our great team of stylists, estheticians, nail artists and massage therapists can continue. They value each and every one of you and do hope to see you as soon as this crisis ends. Salon staff have provided contact emails below for you to connect with your favorite employee(s).”

To Our Valued Guests,

We hope that you are currently staying healthy, well, and taking this time to care for yourselves, your families and friends during these difficult and challenging times.

We would like to thank you for choosing London House as your local salon and spa over the years. Our success as a business would not have been possible without your patronage and the support of our community.

Due to the COVID-19 crisis London House Salon & Spa has been closed since March 17th. As we approach May 5th we must sadly inform you that London House Salon & Spa will be unable to reopen. We are deeply saddened to share this news and hope you understand that it has been a hard and painful decision.

Despite our closure, we hope that your connection with our great team of stylists, estheticians, nail artists and massage therapists can continue.
