A man who was fatally shot in SeaTac on Saturday, Jan. 25, 2025 has been identified as 25-year-old Eucharise John Tavita, also known as Endurance Brown, according to the King County Medical Examiner’s Office.

As we previously reported, Tavita was found with multiple gunshot wounds to the torso in the 3700 block of South 170th Street. Emergency responders arrived at the scene, but he was pronounced dead shortly after.

The 33-year-old suspect suffered from non-firearm injuries after being subdued by those at the scene and being transported to Harborview Medical Center. He was booked into the King County Jail on charges of homicide and first-degree assault.

Witnesses stated that an argument between the suspect and the victim escalated into a physical altercation, during which the suspect allegedly drew a firearm and shot him. A woman was shot in the leg during the confrontation.

The King County Medical Examiner ruled Tavita’s death a homicide, the result of multiple gunshot wounds to his torso.

Everyone at South King Media sends their deepest condolences to all who knew and loved Eucharise.
