The 9th Annual Legendary Sock Drive is underway, running through Dec. 15, 2024, with a goal of collecting 10,000 pairs of socks for individuals in need.
The drive seeks new socks for men, women, and children of all sizes to benefit area shelters, including Mary’s Place, REACH, PorchLight, and others.
Organizer Larry Snyder – who has roots in Burien – emphasized that “warm feet are happy feet,” underscoring the importance of socks in keeping individuals warm during the cold season.
The goal is 10,000 pairs of socks by Dec. 15, 2024, so hop to it!

Alternatively, participants can shop and ship socks via Amazon to Larry J. Snyder at the same address.
“We’re excited to see the community come together to meet this ambitious goal and support those in need,” Snyder said.
