UPDATE: Two people were killed in a triple stabbing Monday night, Sept. 8, 2025 at an apartment building in Burien, police said.

The King County Sheriff’s Office (KCSO) said dispatchers received a call around 9:30 p.m. Monday night about a stabbing in the 200 block of S. 152nd Street (dispatch call below) across from Highline High School.

When deputies arrived, they found at least one injured victim outside the apartment building.

He was taken to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle in critical condition.

“This is an active homicide investigation,” KCSO Communications Manager Brandyn Hull told The B-Town Blog. “There is no danger to the public.”

Multiple fire and medic units also responded to the scene, which was originally called in as a shooting, according to dispatch records.

No arrests or suspect details have been released as of late Monday.
