Volunteers are invited to celebrate the 6th Annual Green Burien Day on Saturday, Oct. 18, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Hilltop Park, to plant trees and help improve the urban forest.
“No experience needed, just come ready to have fun and earn about this important work,” organizers said.
Gloves, tools, snacks and water will be provided.
Music will be provided by DJ Sonido Star’s Mix.
Registration information is available at burien.greencitypartnerships.org/event/412.
Organizers describe Green Burien Day as a family friendly opportunity to learn about local forest restoration while supporting neighborhood parks in South King County.
