Burien Police Department deputies arrested a suspect in a domestic violence incident Thursday morning, Oct. 9, 2025, after responding to a call around 10 a.m., according to the department.

Police said that deputies arrived at an apartment where both individuals were still present. The investigation determined one person was assaulted and sustained injuries.

The suspect was detained, and the victim provided a statement to officers.

Officers also gave the victim information about domestic violence resources.

The suspect was transported to jail and booked, police said.
