Highline SeaTac Botanical Garden Foundation, a nonprofit organization committed to connecting the community to nature through a diverse and beautiful collection of historical gardens, this week announced the appointment of Naomie Chamberlain as its new Executive Director.

Chamberlain, who brings wide-ranging experience in architecture, finance, operations, and nonprofit development, will lead the Garden in becoming a shared community resource that is welcoming, inspiring, and accessible to all.

“I am grateful for the chance to serve as the new Executive Director of the Highline SeaTac Botanical Garden,” Chamberlain said. “This garden feels like such a gift–a place where nature, memory, and community meet, and I am excited to support its growth in ways that reflect the values and hopes of the people who care for it.”

Prior to this role, Chamberlain was Director of Development at the Environmental Science Center, where she established sustainable fundraising systems and expanded donor engagement. She previously served as Director of Operations, Programs, and Development at Refugee Artisan Initiative.

Chamberlain also held leadership roles in finance and operations across corporate and government offices as well as founding a global healthcare startup. She holds a degree in architecture and urban development from Harvard University and brings a strong background in organizational strategy, finance, and community-centered leadership.

“The team at Highline SeaTac Botanical Garden Foundation looks forward to Chamberlain’s leadership and contributions to the mission and vision of these historic gardens,” officials said in a statement.
