The City of Burien is seeking public input as it prepares to install 12 professionally-created murals this summer across several commercial corridors.

The project is being developed in partnership with Urban ArtWorks, according to Burien Economic Development staff, and aims to bring new public art to key business areas throughout the city.

City officials are asking residents, business owners and community members to share their preferences on mural themes, art styles and overall focus through a public survey.

Feedback collected will help guide the design and direction of the murals.

The murals are intended to enhance Burien’s visual landscape while fostering a stronger sense of community connection through public art.

Survey Open Through April 21

The survey is open through April 21 and is available in both English and Spanish.
