The Tukwila Police Department is asking for the public’s help in locating a 78-year-old man who has been missing since March 18.

William H. Bicket was last heard from on that date and was reported missing from his residence in the 98168 area of Tukwila, according to police.

Bicket is described as a white male, 6 feet 1 inch tall and approximately 210 pounds, with straight brown hair reaching his neck, a receding hairline and a goatee. He has one blue eye and one brown eye.

Police said concerns for his welfare increased after an associate visited his home and found mail dating back to the day of his disappearance stacked in the mail slot. Inside the residence, a bar stool was found toppled over, and there was no sign of Bicket.

Authorities said his white 2023 Volkswagen SUV with Washington license plate CHU2227 remains parked at the home. Neighbors also reported the vehicle was left unplugged, which was unusual, and that household trash had not been set out for two weeks. His cellphone goes directly to voicemail, according to police.

Bicket is known to regularly visit a local establishment, and police said he had not maintained that routine prior to being reported missing.

Anyone with information about Bicket’s whereabouts or the circumstances surrounding his disappearance is urged to contact the Tukwila Police Department at (206) 433-1808.
