The next 7 Stories community storytelling event will be held this Friday night, April 24 at the Highline Heritage Museum in Burien, inviting residents to share true life stories centered on the theme “Foolishness” or “No Foolin.”

This free, open event will run from 7–8:30 p.m.

7 Stories is designed to build community, foster empathy and celebrate diversity through personal storytelling.

Each event features real stories told by community members rather than theatrical performances.

Storytellers Needed

Storytellers are asked to sign up in advance and are selected ahead of the event. Each 7 Stories night follows a specific theme, and participants are encouraged to share personal experiences that are heartfelt and authentic.

The group is actively seeking storytellers for the upcoming event and encourages community members to consider sharing their own stories.

If you are interested in telling your own seven-minute true story on one of those themes, sign-up at https://www.burienculturehub.org/7storiessignup.

Organizers say they will provide coaching and support for those who would like assistance preparing their story.

Event will also be Livestreamed on Facebook

NOTE: If you can’t make it in person, be sure to “Like” us on Facebook here to get a notification, as we’ll be streaming it live on that page starting at 7 p.m.

7 Stories is presented by The B-Town Blog, Highline Heritage Museum, Burien Culture Hub, Burien Arts Association, the City of Burien and 4Culture.

The Highline Heritage Museum is located at 819 SW 152nd Street:
