The Concert Truck, a mobile concert hall that brings live chamber music performances directly to neighborhoods and public spaces, will return to the Seattle area this summer with free performances planned in both Burien and Tukwila.

The Summer Festival 2026 residency will run from June 18 through July 6, featuring performances in parks, markets and community gathering spaces across the region.

The tour will begin with a Noon performance on Thursday, June 18 at the Tukwila Community Center, which organizers said is a new stop for the program in 2026.

Another South King County appearance is scheduled for Noon on Thursday, June 25 at the Burien Farmers Market.

The Concert Truck describes itself as “a concert hall on wheels” that transforms everyday spaces into live music venues through free, hour long chamber music performances.

Musicians from the Seattle Chamber Music Society will join Concert Truck founder Susan Zhang during the residency.

Performances are designed for “families, first time listeners, and music lovers alike,” with the goal of making live classical music more accessible and engaging for the public.

Additional performances are planned throughout the Seattle area, including stops in Bellevue, Federal Way, Columbia City, Renton and Seattle parks and public venues.

Organizers noted that times and locations are subject to change.
