Three males were detained after deputies responded to a report of a fight in progress at the Burien Transit Center on Monday, June 22, according to the Burien Police Department.
Burien deputies and Metro Transit deputies responded to the transit center and quickly detained the individuals involved.
Investigators identified one person as the primary aggressor, police said.
However, the victims declined to pursue criminal charges, preventing further prosecution. As a result, all three individuals were released, according to police.
Although no criminal charges were filed, those involved still faced consequences for violating rules governing conduct on Metro Transit property. Police said the individuals were suspended from using Metro Transit services and properties for the next 12 hours.
“Remember: Unlawful Transit Conduct can result in transit suspensions ranging from 12 hours to 365 days, depending on the severity and circumstances of the violation,” police said in a statement. “We encourage everyone to help keep public transit safe and respectful for all riders.”

That suspension will surely bring about some lifestyle reflection, maybe they will actually start paying the fare as well. Sarcasm alert.
Exactly! Could you see me rolling my eyes while reading this?! And even if these 3 lost all privileges to METRO and not just 12 hrs. how would they be enforced…do bus drivers carry pictures of the culprits?
