The Washington State Patrol has activated a Silver Alert on behalf of the King County Sheriff’s Office for a missing and at risk Burien man whose disappearance authorities say poses a credible threat to his health and safety.
Brian Leverentz, 72, was last seen at his residence off SW 155th Street in Burien on Wednesday, July 1, according to the Washington State Patrol. His direction of travel is unknown.
The alert states that Leverentz “is known to have a mental capacity of a 10-year-old” and that “this disappearance poses a credible threat to Brian’s health and safety as determined by the investigating agency,” according to the Washington State Patrol.
Leverentz is described as 5 feet 6 inches tall, weighing 185 pounds, with gray hair and blue eyes. Authorities said his clothing is unknown.

Anyone who sees Leverentz is asked to call 911 immediately. The King County Sheriff’s Office can also be reached on its non emergency line at 206 296 3311. The case number is C26018596.
