The Burien Elks Lodge No. 2143 will host its Classy Chassis Car Show this Sunday, Aug. 23, featuring classic cars, hot rods, custom vehicles, food, drinks and awards.
The event is open to the public and will be held at the lodge (map below).
Vehicle registration begins at 10 a.m. The show runs from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., with awards scheduled for 2:30 p.m. Registration is $10, with funds donated to the Elks, according to the event flyer.
Awards are expected to include best interior, best paint and other categories.
Food will be cooked on the deck, including hot dogs, hamburgers and street tacos. Beverages also will be available, according to the lodge.
