Local arts education non-profit Arts Corps is seeking sponsors for their annual end-of-school year celebration and fundraiser, Art & Sol, coming Saturday, June 8, 2024, from 12–2 p.m. at TAF Bethaday Community Learning Space in White Center.

This event is free and open to the community, and will feature performances by both students and Teaching Artists, art activities for the whole family, an art exhibit, and a raffle.

  • Arts Corps is a nationally recognized youth arts education organization that works to address the race and income-based opportunity gap in access to arts education.
  • In the 2022-23 school year, Arts Corps served over 2,150 students across Seattle and King County, approximately 82% of whom were students of color and 68% who qualified for free or reduced lunch.
  • Through participation in arts integration, out-of-school arts and teen leadership programs, Arts Corps students experience the transformative power of creativity and gain a deepened belief in their own capacity to learn, persist, and achieve.
  • Art & Sol is an annual community celebration which brings together students from different programs and their families. It also functions as a fundraiser. This year, Arts Corps expects 100 guests and anticipates raising $100,000.

Seeking Sponsors

Arts Corps is seeking sponsors to help fulfill needs in transportation, food, and printing, as well as to provide general support for the event and for Arts Corps’ work. Local businesses are encouraged to participate through in-kind donations or pledges of $500-$10,000, at whatever level is accessible to each organization.

Sponsor benefits include recognition in event materials, e-newsletters, and social media sites which collectively reach over 4,500 supporters. Additionally, all sponsors will be included in pre- and post-event publicity on 8 local blogs and their social media channels.

Please consider being one of the sponsors for this event. This is a fantastic opportunity to build community support for Arts Corps’ critical work and to receive significant exposure to the ever-growing and enthusiastic Arts Corps network.

Interested in being a sponsor? Please contact Executive Directors Shawn Roberts or Naho Shioya at eds@artscorps.org.
