A neighborhood block party, offering live music, free food, and entertainment for all ages, is scheduled to take place in Burien’s Sunnydale neighborhood on Sunday, Sept. 15, 2024, from 1 – 4 p.m.

The event is being organized in partnership with several local organizations, including Oasis Home Church, Ministerio Vida Fuerte, and local Burien restaurant Now Make Me a Sandwich.

The free event promises to deliver a range of activities for the community, including live performances, a bouncy house for children, and free meals, ensuring something for everyone to enjoy.

The block party aims to strengthen community ties and provide a fun and festive atmosphere for neighbors to connect and celebrate together.

With its family-friendly focus, the event underscores Burien’s commitment to fostering local engagement and offering entertainment for all residents.

It’s open to residents located in the Sunnydale neighborhood, and will be held on the Oasis Church campus (map below).
