A man was found dead in a car following a shooting outside El Pique Restaurant in Burien early Wednesday morning, June 18, 2025, the King County Sheriff’s Office (KCSO) said.
Deputies responded just before 2 a.m. Wednesday to reports of a shooting at 14445 Ambaum Blvd SW (map below).
When police arrived, they discovered a man fatally shot inside a vehicle parked in front of the restaurant.
No suspect information was immediately available, and detectives with KCSO Major Crimes Unit are investigating.
The scene remained active Wednesday morning as investigators worked to gather evidence and search for potential witnesses.
“This is an active and developing investigation,” KCSO told The B-Town Blog. “We will provide more information as it becomes available.”
Authorities have not yet released the identity of the victim.
