The Burien Collaborative and ecoTHRIVE Housing will host a community conversation on Saturday, May 31, 2025, inviting residents to share their priorities and ideas for building a more sustainable and compassionate future for Burien.

The event will take place from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Lake Burien Presbyterian Church Fellowship Hall, located at 15003 14th Ave SW in Burien (map below).

Organizers aim to create an open, interactive space for residents to engage in dialogue, provide feedback, and connect with neighbors about the city’s future.

Lunch will be provided, and the first 200 community members who register and attend will receive a $25 gift card in appreciation for their participation.

“Our purpose for gathering is to hold an open space conversation about the future of Burien,” event organizers said. “We want to learn people’s priorities and how we, as community members, can collaborate to create a more sustainable and compassionate future in Burien.”

The event will feature multiple interactive areas designed to encourage discussion and collect community input.

Registration is required.
