The Burien Library Guild is inviting community members to clear their bookshelves and donate fiction books to support the library’s summer reading program.
Donations can be dropped off at the Burien Library during regular open hours (details here).
All proceeds from donated books will go towards funding special programs and services at the library, enhancing resources for the entire community.
The Burien Library Guild – a volunteer-run nonprofit organization formed in 1940 – is comprised of people who are committed to supporting library services. The guild’s efforts help promote literacy, support library initiatives, and provide valuable resources to patrons of all ages.
For more information on how to donate or to learn more about the guild’s activities, visit the Burien Library during open hours.
“Many thanks from the Guild for your donations,” organizers said.
