A man was arrested in downtown Burien on Monday, Jan. 12 after a deputy discovered a trailer reported stolen out of Tukwila, according to the Burien Police Department.

Police said a deputy was dispatched to a parking complaint in downtown Burien and found a trailer with two individuals nearby.

A records check showed the trailer had been reported stolen in Tukwila, police said.

According to police, the deputy contacted the victim, who provided camera footage.

“Based on this evidence, the Deputy determined that the male he had detained was the one who stole the trailer from the victim,” police said in a statement.

The man was arrested and transported to King County Jail, according to police.

The case and charges were forwarded to the prosecutor for review.
