Tukwila Police on Friday, Feb. 2, 2024 recovered a stolen car dumped by auto thieves in Burien, who were caught on camera stealing another car nearby overnight.

Police said that on Friday afternoon in Burien they recovered the stolen vehicle used to ram one of their detective cars.

Recovered from within the vehicle were several thousand dollars worth of stolen Home Depot and Lowe’s products, including copper wire that they had stripped and prepped to try to sell.

“Unfortunately for them, they are well known to loss prevention so we now will be filing a laundry list of charges against them,” police said.
