Motorcycle riders from Burien and across the Seattle area joined thousands of participants around the world this year for the 2026 Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride, helping raise more than $30,000 locally for prostate cancer research and men’s mental health programs.
According to organizer Jeff Earle, Seattle’s fundraising total continues to grow, with donations remaining open for several more weeks. Worldwide, the annual event has drawn participants from 110 countries and more than 1,070 cities, with approximately 130,000 riders participating this year.
Over the past 15 years, the event has collectively raised more than $60.5 million for men’s health initiatives through the Movember Foundation.
“This is my 12th season participating and my 8th season leading the south half of Seattle,” Earle said.
Earle said approximately 110 riders participated in the South Seattle portion of the ride this year, with around 300 riders taking part citywide.
The South route began in Burien and included support from members of the Vintage Motorcycle Enthusiasts club, which is based in Seattle. Midway through the event, riders from the southern route met with participants from the northern half of the city in Georgetown.
Funds raised through the Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride support prostate cancer research and mental health programs focused on men’s wellbeing.
