SeaTac Police and the King County Sheriff’s Office Street Crimes Unit recently helped arrest two people in a major human trafficking investigation at a local motel, according to the King County Sheriff’s Office.
Authorities said the arrests were made in partnership with several agencies, including the U.S. Attorney for the Western District of Washington.
According to the Sheriff’s Office, a man was indicted on federal charges related to the trafficking of adults and minors. A woman was also arrested and booked into jail for investigation of human trafficking.
Officials did not release the names of the suspects, the name of the motel, or additional details about the investigation.
The Sheriff’s Office said the case involved cooperation among local and federal agencies working to combat human trafficking in South King County communities.
Human trafficking investigations involving minors are typically prosecuted at both the state and federal levels, depending on the scope of the allegations and the agencies involved.

I always thought that by law you don’t have to ever comply if you’re not being shown nor given a copy of a search warrant. So how is the motel clerk being arrested?
Of course you have to comply. What are you going to do, fight them on the spot?
They worried about people that are inside of a motel. They should be focused on cleaning up Aurora Ave.
Human Trafficking and the abuse that comes from it shouldn’t be defined as an indoor/outdoor scenario where one is more worthy of enforcement, many of the Aurora Ave interactions take place back at a motel as well.
What hotel is that? Someone Reading this article knows
Right by ihop on pac and 204th i think
No its by the old bank of america like 176 or something
Ahh, pit maneuvers and pulling the criminal clerk out by her wig. I never thought I’d say this, but I’m glad the old school policin’ is starting to come back. We need it.
Me too and Im an ex convict. Our communities are over taken by crime and nobody feels safe anymore.
Good job officers!
Thank you for getting sicko, violent, predators off our streets and out of our community!
