Local business owners, entrepreneurs, and community leaders are invited to gather for a special evening of networking and connection at the next Discover Burien Business After-Hours, hosted by the Environmental Science Center on Wednesday, June 18, 2025, from 5 to 7 p.m.

The event will take place at the Center’s scenic location inside Seahurst Park in Burien (map below), and will highlight the nonprofit’s commitment to experiential environmental education across South King County.

Attendees can expect light bites, raffle prizes, and plenty of opportunities to meet other local professionals in a space that encourages both business development and environmental stewardship.

“This is a chance to connect with the business community while celebrating an organization that teaches people of all ages how to care for our region’s natural spaces,” organizers said.

The Environmental Science Center offers hands-on education programs at beaches, streams, forested areas, gardens, and classrooms across the area. The event aims to foster connections between commerce and conservation.
