Burien’s powerhouse of community events and connection is Discover Burien, a 501 (c)3 non-profit supported by a dedicated staff and Board of area business and community leaders.
Their mission is to support the business community of Burien and be a resource for fun and exploration for our residents and visitors.
Thanks to many spirited volunteers, they plan, stage and execute events each month weaving together a tapestry of community connection that is enviable in its depth and richness.

This vibrant calendar displays a wealth of events to enjoy each month, including
- Downtown Farmers Market all year long on Thursdays, limited only with a few holiday closures.
- Addition of a Burien Restaurant Week in both Spring and Fall.
- Multiple dates for Hello Again Vintage Market.
- New earlier start time for the annual 4th of July parade, now slated for 10 a.m.
