Discover Burien’s annual Father’s Day Classic Car Show – set for Sunday, June 21, 2020 – must go on! Albeit, a little differently this year.

Organizers say that since they are not allowed to gather yet in our community due to COVID-19, they thought they’d put together something a little different to celebrate dads and classic car lovers this year: a cruise through Normandy Park and Burien!

All are invited to join in on Sunday, June 21, 2020 for Discover Burien’s “Father’s Day Car Show Cruise!”

Here’s more info from Discover Burien:

Come join us as we cruise through Normandy Park and Burien with our classic cars. All cars must be registered to be included in the Father’s Day Car Show Cruise, no exceptions. Once registered, an email will be sent with the starting location and time. We ask that all participants stay in their cars at all times for social distancing purposes.

If you are a spectator and wish to watch the Father’s Day Car Show Cruise through Normandy Park and Burien, please join us – safely! In your homes or outside of your homes! A map of the area will be posted shortly for planning purposes. Please keep socially distanced and safe at all times. New this year: We will also have video online! Stay tuned for more on that!

Public voting will take place online following the Father’s Day Car Show Cruise where one car will receive the coveted People’s Choice Award. An online video will be made public so that virtual viewers may vote as well. Voting closes 11:59pm on Sunday, June 21, 2020.

Discover Burien is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization. Just like all businesses in the area, we have been financially impacted by COVID-19 and ask for a minimum donation of $20 to participate in the Father’s Day Car Show Cruise. Of course, giving more is always appreciated.

“We thank you for your continued support of our organization.”
