Discover Burien’s “Uncorked Wine Walk” will take place on Saturday afternoon, Oct. 12, 2024 in downtown Burien, offering attendees a chance to explore local businesses while enjoying a variety of wines from participating wineries.
The event, which will run from 1 – 6 p.m., encourages wine enthusiasts to sample wines, discover new local favorites, and purchase bottles to take home.
For a ticket price of $40, participants will receive a personal wine glass, a hands-free glass holder, a map of participating businesses, and 15 tasting tokens, each good for a 1-ounce pour.
Tickets must be purchased in advance, and attendees will check in at Discover Burien, located at 611 SW 152nd Street (map below), starting at 1 p.m. on the day of the event.
- In addition to wine tastings, the event will feature a gift basket raffle.
- Every attendee will receive one raffle ticket upon check-in, and additional raffle tickets can be earned by shopping at participating retailers or restaurants.
- For every $10 spent, participants will receive an extra raffle ticket.
- Guests will also have the opportunity to purchase bottles of wine directly from wineries at the Discover Burien office during the event. For every four bottles purchased, attendees will receive a complimentary wine tote.
- This is a 21+ event, and valid identification will be required at check-in.
- Organizers emphasize that no tickets will be sold at the event, and refunds are not available.
