Discover Burien this week announced a new, 12-weekend series of outdoor cinema every Friday and Saturday night right here in our own backyard, starting this Friday, July 24, 2020.

Movies will be shown outside at 610 SW 153rd Street (map below) every Friday and Saturday night, starting this Friday with the timeless musical classic Grease.

Movies will be shown through Saturday, Aug. 29.

Using touchless pre-registration, online payment options, concessions ordering, and audio tuned right into each car, Discover Burien “is dedicated to the safety of our patrons and guests as we navigate a truly interesting time in our community.”

- The drive-in theater opens at 8:30 p.m. for parking and concessions, with movies screening around sundown (or approximately 9:30 p.m. during summer months).
- Parking spots are first-come, first serve with touchless admission and pre-ordering of concessions and other amenities as available on www.discoverburien.org.
- Reservations are strongly encouraged for the outdoor cinema, located at 610 SW 153rd Street (map below).
- Space is extremely limited.
- The cost per vehicle is $25 General / $50 VIP, which includes a reusable picnic snack pack and other goodies!
