Burien’s Eagle Landing Park will be temporarily closed to the public starting Monday, Nov. 27, 2023 while demolition begins on the Eagle Landing Park Stairway Project.

The City said it will maintain access to the existing trail and viewpoints for the public to use and enjoy after the stairs are removed.

Work will take approximately two to three months to complete on this project, despite many attempts to save it.
