The first round of results are in for Tuesday’s (Aug. 3, 2021) Primary Election, and early returns for the Burien City Council race are favoring Martin Barrett & Hugo Garcia for Position No. 1, Jimmy Matta and Mark Dorsey for Position No. 3, Sarah Moore and Alex Simkus for Position No. 5, and Krystal Marx and Stephanie Mora for Position No. 7.
The top two vote getters for each position will move on to the General Election on Nov. 3.
Please note that these are just the first round of returns, and historically totals change as more results are tabulated.
