Gwendolyn Benedict and Lita Artis will be offering a meditative Sound Bath to the community, to be held at Normandy Park Congregational Church (map below) on Saturday, Aug. 29, from 11 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.

“Please join us for this meditative, community-centered experience,” organizers said. “You may either sit and or lie down. Chairs will be available. Bring a yoga mat, pillow, blanket, eye mask – whatever makes you comfortable.”

Organizers say the resonances of the tones promote deep relaxation, calm the nervous system, and release stress.

“All you have to do is come and let the sound wash over you. It is like a concert for the soul.”

Any gratitude or donation is appreciated. Suggested donation is $25.00.
