The Hydroplane & Raceboat Museum in Kent will host its annual Hydros & Hot Rods Vintage Car & Hydroplane Show on Saturday, July 11, offering visitors a chance to see historic hydroplanes and classic automobiles side by side.

The free, family-friendly event will run from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the museum, located at 5917 S. 196th St. in Kent (map below).

Attendees will be able to view beautifully restored and race-ready hydroplanes alongside displays from local car enthusiasts.

The museum and gift shop also will be open to the public with free admission.

Live music will be provided by The Superchargers from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. The band performs hits from several decades and features male and female lead singers, along with guitar, keyboard, saxophone, harmonica and other instruments.

Food also will be available during the event, including a $10 lunch featuring a burger or brat with chips and a drink, as well as $5 strawberry shortcake.

The Hydroplane & Raceboat Museum is home to the world’s largest hydroplane collection, according to the organization.
