All are invited to join the Environmental Science Center (ESC) board of directors, naturalists, staff and community to celebrate another successful year providing experiential environmental education for South King County students – the Seaside Soirée will be held on Saturday, March 3 at 5 p.m. at the Normandy Park Cove.
The night will begin with a cocktail hour featuring a local beer and wine selection from Elliott Bay Brewing and Chateau Ste. Michelle. Madre’s Kitchen will be serving their signature Mediterranean cuisine complete with swiss chard dolmas, lemon pepper Mediterranean chicken and chickpea salad.
“The evening’s program will include a keynote speech from a program leader who knows first-hand how our programs deeply impact the communities we serve. We will have environmental science exploration stations where you can test your knowledge while the naturalists that make our programs possible will be there to field any nature-related inquiry!”
The evening will include raffle drawings for high value gift packages including vacation packages, a flight simulation, restaurant experiences, outdoor adventures and more! Try your luck at Wine Wall Roulette and have a chance to nab a bottle of Dom Perignon! A lively Dessert Dash will round out the evening with sweets and comradery.
