Kennedy Catholic High Lancers vs Bothell Cougars on Saturday, Sept. 7

The Kennedy Catholic High School Lancers football team will kick off their 2024 season with an away game against Bothell High School on Saturday, Sept. 7, 2024, with a 1 p.m. kickoff.

As we previously reported, Pat Jones was hired as the team’s fifth Football Head Coach following the departure of Coach Sheldon Cross in January, 2023. Jones was named Co-Coach of the Year by the North Puget Sound League (NPSL) for the 2023 season.

Last year, the 10-2 Lancers made it all the way to the second round of the WIAA 4A state varsity football tournament, but lost to Lake Stevens on Nov. 17, 2023 by a score of 44-21.

This year, they aim to leverage their returning players and new talent to improve their performance in the 4A NPSL.

The team is eager to make a strong impression as they begin their journey in the 2024-25 season.

Fans can expect an exciting matchup as the Lancers face off against the Bothell Cougars, who had a 5-5 record last season.
