Glen Acres Church of Christ will host a free Community Picnic on Saturday, June 27, inviting area residents to gather for a barbecue, outdoor games and an early celebration of Independence Day from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m.
According to organizers, the free gathering is designed to bring neighbors together for food, community and an early celebration of Independence Day.
The event will include a barbecue meal and a variety of outdoor activities, including a bouncy house, croquet, badminton and volleyball.
Organizers encourage residents to attend and spend time with neighbors in a casual community setting.
The event is open to the public.
