Discover Burien is inviting community members and businesses to sponsor downtown hanging flower baskets as part of an effort to enhance the city’s streets and public spaces.
According to Discover Burien, the program helps keep downtown colorful, welcoming and inviting for neighbors, shoppers and visitors throughout the season.
Each sponsored basket will be maintained from May through October and will include a dedication plaque displayed on the pole, recognizing the sponsor or honoring a person of their choosing.
“This is a great way to say think you, promote your business or remember a love one,” organizers said.
