Discover Burien is once again inviting community members to help brighten the city’s streets by sponsoring a hanging flower basket for the upcoming spring and summer season.
Displayed on historic light posts throughout downtown Burien from May through October, each vibrant basket includes a personalized nameplate, offering residents a chance to dedicate their sponsorship to a loved one or community member.
For $125, you can help beautify Downtown B-Town and honor someone special with a hanging flower basket that adds color and charm to our streets.
Each nameplate will remain affixed to the pole throughout the season and can be removed and kept as a keepsake when the baskets come down in the fall. Patrons can remove the plaque themselves or request it be mailed to them.
Multiple baskets may be purchased to honor more than one person, and custom dedication messages are included during checkout.
